Although not really new info, here’s a really sleek concept phone that Nokia has come up with. Known as the ‘Aeon’, this phone will have a touchscreen that will cover one surface of the extremely thin phone. Although not as exciting as the bendable Nokia 888 (possibly fake??), the Aeon seems to be more realistic and hopefully we will see it soon in the time horizon. See more here.

A while ago I posted on the possible release of Un-tiffany Dunks. Well today I just came across the Nike Crocodile Reflector Pack which consists of a pair of Dunk Low, Court Force High and Court Force Low. Read the rest of this entry »

After months upon months of speculation, Apple has released their new line of Core 2 Duo Macbooks providing better battery life, faster processing speed, more RAM & bigger hard drives. Replacing the original Intel Core Duo macbooks, it comes in similar configurations (2 white, 1 black) and has subtle changes which are all internal. Similarily to the Macbook Pros, all changes are performance upgrades. Prices range from $1099 – 1499 USD (the Canadian store is down at the moment.) While I recently purchased a Black Macbook just two months earlier, this is the worst possible news ever. That is why I will end the post here.

Corzo Tequila

November 8, 2006

Once in a whlie, a product comes by and catches your eye because of some sort of distinct packaging. Although not really a new product, Corzo Tequila is definately be one of them The clean and minimal design gives the bottle a stylish look, reflecting the premium tequila inside. Corzo uses a patented process which allows the tequila to distill after aging. In fact, Corzo is the only distilled tequila in the market (that I know of), offering a smoother taste. And to top it off, they have a pretty impressive site that offers more information on their product and processes. Check it out here.

Heroes: Superhero Hype?

November 8, 2006

Heroes, a new TV drama action series about different people all over the world discovering they have special powers, is making a huge impact in ratings and one of the top new shows of the season. Whether it is having a dual persona, flying, time travel, ‘wicked art skills’, or being invulnerable, all the main cast members slowly reveal and develop their own powers. The show has definitely created quite a deal of hype and hysteria especially with award winning comic book writer Jeph Loeb on the series. He’s written the Batman/Superman series, Catwoman, Daredevil, Spiderman, and Hulk series among others and is slated to write volumes 3 and 4 of the Ultimates, an alternate reality of the Avengers.

Despite the strong showing of ratings, only after episode 5 and 6 has the show really picked up. The acting is mediocre and really its nothing ‘new’ in terms of story. Its definitely not one of the best shows of all time but its a great stepping stone into the world of graphic novels and comics. If you like Jeph Loeb’s stuff, there’s definately more where that came from. Regardless, the show is worth a shot.
