Liful Autumn/Winter 2006 Collection

Liful is one of the first streetwear brands that I heard of coming out of South Korea. Their designs are really eye-catching especially the Contour Line Zip Hoodie. It’s really good to see some fresh companies from around the world popping up. It definately allows for different influences from various cultures to be brought into the streetwear industry. Ikepod Watches

IKEPOD watches, designed by Marc Newson, produces luxury wristwatches that differentiates them greatly from other traditional luxury wristwatch makers. Focused around simplistic designs and putting emphasis on organic harmony with the wearer, IKEPOD watches look to deliver a timepiece that fits fluidly around the wrist. The IKEPOD watchband joins together with the case appearing as a single interrupted whole. As a fan of chronograph watches, the one that appeals the most to me is the Megapode (above picture). IKEPOD definately does a good job bringing together simplicity along with elegance.

Cingular x Samsung Blackjack Commercial by Shilo

Just came across this impressive commercial by Shilo, one of the best known creative production studios in the world. It features the Samsung Blackjack smartphone, that will be available by Cingular. The commercial portrays the thinness of the Blackjack by using a visual analogy comparing it with a deck of cards. Check it out at Shilo Design.
